For a city that is not know for its tourism attractiveness, Hamilton as all the infrastructure that is need to become a major tourism hub. It has a reliable transportation system to get you to all the main attraction and every where else you need to go. The bus system is cheap and easy to follow which makes it perfect for youth tourist who are pressed for money and still what to get around to explore Hamilton. It has a wide range of accommodation to fit every travellers needs from the high class Novatel to the backpackers looking just for a bed and to meet like minded people. Hamilton also has a great nightlife facilities due to the amount of university students that live there which makes it ideal for youth tourist to socialise with people near their own age which is always part of the identity that youth tourists are known for. Youth tourist would come to Hamilton due to is location in the "Heart" of New Zealand with many of the more well known tourist destinations such are Rotorua close by. It may not be the the most beautiful city but Hamilton is as the locals refer to it the " City of the future", especially for tourism development.
